The 2093-PRS1 is a specialized backplane (power rail) designed for the Kinetix 2000 series. Its primary role is to house one Integrated Axis Module (IAM). The rail distributes logic power, control signals, and the shared DC bus voltage from the IAM to any attached inverter modules. It is an “open type” device meant for installation inside an industrial enclosure.

• Power-Off Installation: Never install or remove modules while power is applied to the rail. Doing so can cause arcing and permanent damage to the connector pins.

• Grounding: Ensure the rail is mounted to a grounded, conductive subpanel. Use the provided ground straps to ensure a low-impedance path to machine ground.
