  • Heat Dissipation: Under high continuous current (5A), the module generates significant heat. Ensure proper ventilation and spacing within the chassis.

  • Regenerative Braking: If the motor is decellerating a high-inertia load, it may “back-feed” energy. In some cases, an external shunt resistor or large capacitor across the power supply lines may be needed to prevent over-voltage trips.

  • Inductive Kickback: Always use shielded cabling for motor leads to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) that could affect nearby sensitive analog modules.
