The F802 is a plug-in power module used in conjunction with a module carrier (such as the F880 or F890 series). It provides DC power to eight fieldbus segments. When two F802 modules are installed on a single carrier, they operate in a redundant configuration with load sharing. If one module fails, the other seamlessly takes over the full load to prevent network downtime. It features built-in power conditioning, galvanic isolation, and segment termination.
