The MTL5053 is an intrinsically safe isolator and power supply designed for 31.25 kbit/s (H1) Fieldbus networks. It extends these networks into hazardous areas, supplying both power and data communication over the same signal conductors. A built-in switch allows enabling an internal terminator when the safe-area bus length is limited.
