Key Considerations & Precautions

  • Software Requirement: This unit is often sold “blank.” It does not include application software by default. You must load the correct firmware package (e.g., Standard, System, or Master/Follower) before use.

  • Static Electricity: The internal RMIO board is extremely sensitive to ESD. Avoid touching the board directly; use an antistatic wrist strap during installation.

  • Fiber Optic Handling: Never touch the ends of the fiber optic cables with bare hands. Dirt or grease can significantly degrade the signal. The minimum bend radius for these cables is 25 mm.

  • Power Supply: If powering from an external 24V supply, ensure it is stable. The RDCU can also be powered directly from the inverter’s power supply board if the current draw is within limits.
