The NI SCXI-1326 is a high-voltage terminal block designed to work specifically with certain NI SCXI switch modules, such as the SCXI-1162, SCXI-1162HV, SCXI-1163, and SCXI-1163R. It is not a data acquisition module itself, but rather a shielded accessory that simplifies the connection of high-voltage and high-current signals to a compatible SCXI module. The terminal block features screw terminals, making it easy to wire signals from your external equipment to the SCXI system.

- Safety Ground: When dealing with high voltages (≥30 Vrms), it is mandatory to connect a safety earth ground wire to the terminal block’s safety ground solder lug. This is a critical safety measure to protect against electrical shock.
- Proper Wiring: When connecting signal wires, strip no more than 7 mm of insulation and ensure that no bare wire extends past the screw terminal. This prevents short circuits. Always turn off power to the signal lines before connecting or disconnecting wires.
- Operating Environment: The module is designed for a specific temperature range. Ensure it is used in a suitable environment to prevent damage.
