The GE SELA36AI0100 belongs to the SE150 Frame of the Spectra RMS family. Unlike standard thermal-magnetic breakers, this “AI” (Instantaneous-only) version provides only magnetic short-circuit protection. It is used in combination with an overload relay to provide a complete motor branch circuit protection solution.

Instantaneous Settings: Carefully calculate the motor’s inrush current when setting the instantaneous trip dial to prevent nuisance tripping during motor startup.
