The Yokogawa YHC4150X is a portable, full-function HART® Communicator designed for the commissioning, configuration, and maintenance of HART-compatible field instruments.

Note: The YHC4150X was officially discontinued by Yokogawa in 2013 and has been replaced by the updated YHC5150X model. However, it remains in use in many industrial settings due to its rugged reliability.

The YHC4150X is designed for field technicians who need to interact with HART devices (transmitters, valves, etc.) directly at the installation site. It supports Universal, Common Practice, and Device-Specific HART commands.

• Resistor Requirement: When communicating with low-resistance HART loops, ensure you use the included 250Ω shunt resistor to enable proper communication.
• Firmware Updates: Ensure the device firmware and Device Object Files (DOFs) are current if you are working with newer HART field devices.
